In keeping an attentive eye on the sky, I noticed a dramatic dusk developing yesterday just in time to catch some photos of an incoming storm. First shot, without flash — revealing awesome clouds forming above the city; second shot, with flash — revealing little white balls that are not your usual April showers; they’re tiny pieces of hail that came pelting out of the early evening sky, tapping against windows with that ‘pinging’ sound that is an unmistakable reminder of winter. Can spring be far behind?
