In early November Robin Hotchkiss called to ask if I would be interested in participating in her annual Animal Show, opening in December. I said I would, even though I had never painted an animal before in my life, other than tiny. I liked the idea of a new challenge. Anyway, I had such a good time with the first, I did a second. Here’s the pair of paintings that materialized in the last 3 weeks… both oil on linen, 17″ x 24″
