Just a block away from where I live, walking north on 7th Street, is one of those late blooming, spectacular cherry trees, the type with incredibly lush double-triple-quadruple blossoms — one of nature’s most extraordinary spring sights and delights. Walking uptown the other day I turned back home just to retrieve my camera in order to capture the extraordinary sight of the tree in full bloom, sunbathed and shadowed.
