October 2012. A foggy day in Dayton town, down on the intervale, fall coming on. One of the more successful paintings achieved by experimenting with acrylics while on vacation in Maine a year ago: a piece that didn’t make it into last year’s series, but is perfect for this survey of Intervale inspired paintings. Below is another: started in the mid-90s, put away for a number of years, which caught my eye again a couple years ago, prompting me to add a number of finishing touches.
